Our history

80 years ago the master shoemaker Karl Schützeneder founded a shoemaker's workshop and started to take his first journeymen and apprentices. Preceded by a varied history, the company SCHÜTZE-SCHUHE is a family business in the third generation.

The orientation towards the most modern technologies of production guaranteed continuous growth and further development of the products throughout the years. The production process has been strongly automated by the use of robots and direct soling systems.

In order to really profit from the advantages of this technology and to improve the logistics, we completed and moved to a new, modern plant in 2003, so that we now count among the most modern shoe factories in Europe.

To continue the economic success in the future, it will not be possible to take a rest after what has been reached so far, but it will be necessary to use a high level of innovative power not only to keep up with development, but also to be able to take a leading part in deciding the direction.
