"Pegasus" business award for SCHÜTZE-SCHUHE

The most important Upper Austrian business award was given to the company from Tragwein: SCHÜTZE-SCHUHE won the Pegasus in the category of up to 49 employees. The company owner Thomas Schützeneder is delighted saying that their whole team is proud of this honour, given for their challenging work and high-quality products.

SCHÜTZE-SCHUHE has specialized in safety shoes for trade, industry, the building and related trade. Company-owned patents, robots and direct soling systems make the production process optimal. So it is possible to safeguard the site, which has existed for more than 80 years.

In their reasoning, the jury were especially impressed by the fact that SCHÜTZE-SCHUHE had been able to increase their exports ratio last year despite the economic crisis. Schützeneder explains that they have made further development of their special products, also for the export market. Their patented production process allows lightweight and at the same time resistant sole designs. This leads to a decisive advance even in difficult times.
Pegasus is supported by the local newspaper OÖ Nachrichten, the Industrialists’ Association, the Chamber of Commerce, the Province of Upper Austria, Raiffeisenlandesbank and KPMG.
